Indeed, when John returned, the note was nowhere to be seen.

Oh.....Wow! This has given me so so SO many ideas for stories I've been working on! I have a couple finished, but this just gave me more places to go! I really love that John actually made two cups of tea, like he knows that Sherlock is still around! You did an awesome job bringing our the angst in this one! Thanks for sharing!
